Breaking News: After S&P downgrade, Pranab Mukherjee decided to lower the spending on his food and clothes

BRIEF STORY - POLITICS AND BUSINESS

Promised S&P analyst to recover the economy, Moody's happy with Pranabda's step reaffirmed India's stable rating

Taking moral responsibility for India's downgrade by Standard and Poor's (S&P) Rating Services, Pranab Mukherjee announced that he will just eat nashta instead of 3 course full meals. However, he decided to have rasagullas only in his nashta.

The decision came after a steep fall in the Sensex on account of downgrade. However, it recovered immediately after Pranab Mukherjee said that he would cut his food expenses by 90% to reduce some of the fiscal deficit and inflation. Pranabda's step appreciated by another rating agency Moody's which reaffirmed India's rating with stable outlook. Moody's said in its report that it has emotional values in rating criterias and India wins because of emotions of Pranabda.

"Thish wash required. I talk with Madamjee. She gave me go ahead when I told her I will have only nashta everyday and will shkip lunsh and dinner till the time hour fishkal defishit and inflashion will come down," said Pranabda in a press conference.

He said "I alsho shent her a requesht that I will wear only one pair of cloth for 2 weeksh. She hashn't approved it yet. I have alsho ashked few hother minishters and our prime minishter to follow my ekzample."

Pranab Mukherjee expects that his spending cut would revive the economy in immediate term. S&P also told that it would check the rating after revisiting the health of Pranabda.

According to sources, Pranabda asked Suvra didi to have only breakfast which she humbly rejected citing the concerns over the fall-outs of experimentation.

The sources also told that for the time being Pranabda choose to eat rashagullah daily for one month in the nashta. However, if it increases milk prices in the country, he will switch over to some other Bengali varieties.
