Challenging the authorities, Congress Party leader Rahul Gandhi demanded a probe into some riot case happened in 2002, somewhere in Gujarat in 2002. Rahul was talking to the crowd of lakhs of Gujaratis that came to see him, listen to him.

"I demand a serious probe into some riot case in 2002. I believe it may happen in Lucknow district of Gujarat. Though it was some small riot, I believe if truth is found out Narendra Modi would be called as 'Maut ka Saudagar," said Rahul Gandhi to his audience which came there to hear him.

He said "It was some train accident that killed few people of some religion and then riots occured in Lucknow of Gujarat and Narendra Modi avoided any step to restore the situation. I already condemned him as a Maut ka Saudagar but if a probe by the court held for that slaughering, I am sure everybody in the country will call him 'Maut ka Saudagar'."
