“If Dettol soap can’t guarantee 100% germs killing, how can Congress government guarantee”
A lot of talks are made on the political street after Rahul Baba’s statement that 99% attacks can be stopped by the government and not all attacks. The statement didn’t really like much to the opposition parties which protested.
Leader of Opposition Arun Jaitley went on the offensive accusing the Congress of being bias against majority and a tendency to appease the minority. Jaitley charged Congress of playing a vote bank politics and not interested in dealing with terror.
"Congress wants to bring in a communal violence bill, but they don't want to do anything to bring back TADA saying one community was being targetted," Jaitley said.
However, Congress spokesperson who justified Baba’s statement said “it happens, not really a serious thing. Even if you see a quality soap product such as Dettol it says Wash hands in Dettol soap, killing 99% of all-known germs in the process. Baba was following general code of conduct so opposition and media both should keep quiet.”
